Basics of Digital Photography Course
Who the course is aimed at
This course is aimed at those with little or no experience, for those who enjoy taking photographs with a smartphone, but would like to explore the next level, or for those who would like a refresher course in the basics of digital photography.
The course is for small groups of no more than 4 people. This enables us to give individual tuition and advice. Your questions during the course are always welcome.
For the duration of the course, we will lend you a Canon EOS 1000D DSLR camera.
What you will learn

• Depth of field
• Moving subjects
• Advice on equipment
• The next steps
A chance to practise
We will clearly explain the theory, and guide you through a series of photoshoots to let you practise for yourself.
The exact format and locations will depend on the weather conditions and the time of year.
After the course

Morning courses start at 11:00.
Afternoon courses start at 14:30.
The duration is approximately 3 hours. Depending on circumstances, your tutor will be happy to answer questions after the official end of the course.
We meet at Leiden Central station, Stationsplein entrance. Please try to be there by 15 minutes before the start..
If you are travelling from outside Leiden, and would like advice on public transport please contact us.
