Or perhaps you already have Photoshop, but are confused by all the features and don’t really know where to begin?

Whatever the reason for your interest, following this course will enable you to elevate your pictures from snapshots into captivating photographs. And above all, improving your photos in Photoshop is really fun and amazingly satisfying!

Photoshop is a critical tool for designers, web developers, graphic artists, photographers, and creative professionals. It is widely used for image editing, retouching, creating image compositions, website mockups, and adding affects.

This course will concentrate specifically on those functions and features relevant for photographers, and simple techniques involving only a few steps. There are plenty of videos in YouTube demonstrating complicated procedures, but the premise of this course is: if your photo requires intensive and time-consuming improvement, it is probably not a good photo!

By the end of the course , you will have gained the skills and knowledge to quickly transform your snapshots into stunning artistic pictures.

The full course comprises 4 lessons of 2 hours each. In order to provide individual attention, the course is limited to a maximum of 3 people.

Digital photography is a journey; clicking the shutter on your camera is just the beginning…

And post-processing in Adobe Photoshop should be part of the journey.

The course will cover the following topics:

We will guide you through each topic, with practical examples and clear explanations.

No experience of Adobe Photoshop is necessary for this course. However, to gain the most from the course you should shoot in RAW format and have basic computing knowledge.

• Laptop (MacBook of Windows)
• A working copy of Adobe Photoshop
• Your own photos you would like to improve

The course is based on the latest version of Photoshop (currently cc 2021). Howrever it is still relevant for older versions of Photoshop cc and CS6.

Practice makes perfect, so we will give you a number of optional assignments to reinforce what you learn in class.

In addition we will provide extensive course notes you can refer to.
