Botanic Gardens (Hortus Botanicus Leiden)

One of Europe’s oldest botanical gardens established in 1590. Peaceful and relaxing, with explosions of tropical colour and amazing greenhouses.
Museum of Antiquities (Rijksmuseum van Oudheden)
American Pilgrim Museum

The Leiden American Pilgrim Museum is a fascinating restoration of a one-room house dating from 1375 and occupied around 1610 by the soon-to-be Pilgrims.
Windmill De Valk Museum

Leiden’s landmark windmill, 9 floors high, considered by many as the best example of its kind. Fully working and it can still grind grain.
